By June 14th, over 1,300 global premium brands from 58 countries and regions had decided to take part in the second China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE, also known as the Hainan Expo), which will be held in the island capital of Haikou from July 26 - 30 this year, according to the organizing committee. More brands are expected to sign on in the coming weeks.
Considered China’s only national-level platform featuring high-end consumer products, the Expo was first held in May of 2021 in Haikou, and was a great success. MOODIE DAVITT REPORT
This year's event will feature a 25% larger exhibition space—10,000 square meters, and feature more leading brands from China and around the world, with a broader array of product categories.
During the Expo, high-end products from popular Chinese brands, including Wuliangye, Pianzaihuang, iFLYTEK, Bloomage Biotech, and more will be exhibited.
As for the international exhibitors, Japan and the United States will have the largest exhibition booths at the event, followed by France, this year's guest of honor. So far, a total of some 1,300 global brands from 58 countries and regions including Richemont, De Beers Forevermark, Swatch Group, L'Oréal S.A., Estée Lauder, Shiseido, and many others have signed up to attend the Expo, showing confidence in the country’s economy, as well as in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
In addition to the dazzling displays of all kinds of products, the event will also include a global duty-free & travel retail conference, a sustainable spending summit, trade pairing, new product debuts, a cocktail party, a brand fashion show, a golf tournament, and several other activities.

According to the organizing committee of the Expo, in addition to providing a platform for exhibitors, buyers, and professional delegates, the event will also be open to the public during the last two days of the event (July 29 - 30).
