An exciting event marking a new chapter in international communications in the Hainan Free Trade Port took place on May 19, as the all-new Hainan International Media Center (HIMC) and FTP+ talk show program was officially relaunched at a ceremony at Hainan Broadcasting Station in Haikou. 

Seeking an even deeper level of cooperation in international communications and a more unified approach to representing Hainan on the global stage, the Hainan Daily Press Group (HDPG) and Hainan Broadcasting Station (Group) took the monumental step to pool their international communications resources, bringing their respective editorial and reporting teams into the HIMC fold. Forces and resources combined, this youthful, dynamic, and international team will work together to produce the talk show FTP+, which following its refresh, will engage with a wider range of interviewees from China and abroad.
