From the lovely Nanwan Monkey Island, a nature reserve for macaque monkeys, to the romantic Boundary Island, a beautiful floating gem in the turquoise sea that remains aloof from the world, as well as the fascinating Li minority culture and mouthwatering Tanka seafood, Lingshui offers a wide range of attractions sure to please even the pickiest traveler.
Over the past several years, Lingshui has seen rapid development in tourism, one of the three main industries for the Hainan Free Trade Port. A new resort in Lingshui, Hainan R&F Ocean Paradise, similar to the Orlando theme parks in the U.S., has just opened to the public, providing all kinds of thrilling water activities as well as aquariums where visitors can get up close and personal with marine life.
Recently, when a media group visited, they were fascinated by the diversity of Lingshui’s attractions. "I am looking forward to experiencing more interesting, exciting activities in the theme park," said Liu Aiyuan, a reporter from Rednet.cn, a Hunan Province media outlet.
As a demonstration zone for the national "all-for-one" tourism initiative, Lingshui expects to attract further investment in order to bring in more high-quality tourism projects in the near future, according to a representative from the local government.
