Due to its unique preferential policies and exciting investment opportunities, China's southern Hainan Province is drawing lots of interest at the 18th China - ASEAN Expo, the most important trade and investment platform between China and the 10 ASEAN members, which opened in Nanning, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Friday.

At the Expo, the tropical island set up a pavilion to showcase its preferential free trade policies as well as the latest developments and the wide variety of investment opportunities in key areas of Hainan’s market, hoping to deepen cooperation with ASEAN members in fields including off-season crop breeding & multiplication, deep-sea sci-tech, logistics, and more.

An economic exchange and cooperation meeting was also held on Friday by the Sanya Business Center, one of the 11 key industrial parks of the Hainan Free Trade Port. The Business Center entered strategic partnerships by signing MOUs and cooperation agreements with Nanning's Wuxiang New District, the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, Singapore's Maxbond Asia Pacific Group (MAP), the Guangxi Baota Investment Group, and others in order to foster external connections and facilitate further work in finance and other areas.
