The Expo Trio: A bite of Hainan Expo

The CICPE is ongoing! During this four-day feast for the senses, let’s follow along with Lara, Polina, and Tommy as they experience the thrills of the Expo! Touring many fascinating pavilions, Tommy found the one with delicacies from all over the world especially interesting. Here is Tommy’s note - “One Bite of the Hainan Expo”.

These past couple of days at the Hainan Expo have been a blast. I'm so proud to have participated in China's first International Consumer Products Expo. I live on the West Coast of Haikou, so I've been watching them build the new convention center for some time now. It was great to get inside and have a peek. Everything seemed meticulously planned. The layout of the pavilions made it easy to navigate. The event's vibe was upbeat and cheerful, and everybody seemed to be relaxed and having a great time. There were ample amounts of products on display. They had everything, from sports cars and planes to imported cheese and rare diamonds. One could easily imagine they were in a 007 film. There was also plenty of staff around eager to help attendants. My favorite part of the Expo was the food. Oh, the food. It was divine. I'm pretty sure I gained a couple of kilos. I also made some new friends from all over the world. That's something that I won't forget. I only have one question, perhaps two. When is the next Hainan Expo? And where can I get tickets?
