Online & Offline activities launched for CICPE (Hainan Expo)

The first China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), also known as the Hainan Expo, will be held in Haikou from May 7-10. The much-anticipated event is considered the countrys first national-level platform for premium goods, and is expected to welcome more than 20,000 purchasing agencies and 200,000 visitors from China and around the world. Now the Expo has launched several online & offline activities to provide better service to both exhibitors and buyers from China and around the world.

Online exhibition

The online exhibition items cover a wide range of key categories including fashion & accessories, beauty & cosmetics, food & healthcare products, jade & stone carving ware, local artworks & specialty goods, new energy vehicles, smart devices, and more. Additionally, shoppers can also find detailed information about the products as well as the companies that produce them. Exhibitors can submit item information to be displayed in the online exhibition after approval.

So far, the online exhibition has attracted more than 800 exhibitors from over 50 countries including China, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, France, Italy, and more. Over 3,000 items have already been selected to be spotlighted online.

Online promotions

Additionally, online promotions bringing Hainan and other countries around the world together will be launched,  linking exhibitors with buyers. Through global live broadcasts displaying and introducing their products, exhibitors will gain more exposure and attract more buyers.

A Malaysia-Hainan online promotion has already been held to bring more high-quality products from Malaysia and other ASEAN countries to China, as well as explore trade and investment possibilities between the two sides. S.Korea-Hainan, Italy-Hainan, and more online promotions will also be held soon.

Offline activities

22 offline activities are scheduled to be held  in addition to these online activities. An Expo App will also be launched to facilitate communication between exhibitors and buyers as well as allowing both sides to make appointments to meet up.
