Alone in a foreign land, the strange new food is sometimes a bit overwhelming, making you nostalgic for something familiar.

Ruka, a Korean who arrived in Hainan to study in 2015 and a super big fan of pizza, was no exception. Although he was completely fascinated by Hainan, a beautiful and relaxing island, he was sad to discover that there was no pizza to his liking in the land.  After graduation, he decided to stay on his now beloved island of Hainan and start his own business— He opened a pizzeria!

This is the origin story of the now wildly popular Giant Pizza. Ruka continues in his pursuit of high quality and low prices, with the idea of providing super tasty but affordable pizza to students like himself a few years ago. He cuts down on cost as much as possible on rent, decoration, and advertising so that he can purchase top quality ingredients. Hard work pays off! Giant Pizza has built a solid reputation by word of mouth.
