Alex, a young content creator with wide-ranging interests, is a motorcyclist and musician as well as a college instructor. He’s lived in Hainan for eight years (and counting), where he lives his best life and pursues his passions in the pristine natural environment and unique cultural atmosphere of this tropical island.

Nicki has lived in Hainan for over 20 years, and shares the beauty of Hainan culture in many ways - as a translator she collaborates with many Hainan and Chinese media outlets to share Hainan stories, and brings her passion and knowledge of the intangible cultural heritage art of Li Brocade to the handmade items she creates and features in her small shop, Island Delights.

As one of the primary editors of hiHainan’s international media accounts, Dora has won numerous Hainan news awards and shared her work experience in this area, as well as covering many major international events. She was also a guest at a youth roundtable hosted by the Malaysian National News Agency.

Ma Yiming has been deeply engaged in the fields of photography and filmography for ten years, and specializes in documentary and landscape photography and filmography. Ma has served as director and worked behind the camera for documentaries such as Discovering Mysteries, has provided photography and filmography support for many Hainan province conferences, cultural projects, and large-scale exhibitions, in addition to having a large body of work published by Hainan province media organizations.
