The 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup (the "Haikou Asian Cup") will be held from February 4 to 8, 2026, at the Wuyuanhe Gymnasium in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, according to the official website of the International Table Tennis Federation.
It will be the first time that this top-tier international competition is hosted in Haikou. Tickets will go on sale on January 6, 2026, with official ticketing platforms to be announced in the coming days.
During the event, Haikou will launch "Citywide Privileges" for ticket holders, serving their transportation and accommodation needs. Tickets will grant their holders exclusive hotel discounts, airport/urban transport benefits, and convenient car rental services. Beyond transportation and lodging, the initiative also encompasses tourist attractions, duty-free shopping, dining, and other amenities.
An Asian Cup-themed park will be set up around the competition venue during the tournament, featuring interactive table tennis experiences, sports culture displays, attractions, and a specialty food market. It will be open for everyone to enjoy, with or without a ticket.
The city will leverage the hosting of the tournament to promote table tennis culture in communities and schools, organizing youth table tennis training camps and amateur matches.
