The Department of Commerce of Hainan Province issued a notice on August 14, announcing the first group of provincial-level necessity suppliers. The list includes a total of 73 enterprises in 6 major areas. The Notice states that the list of city and county-level necessity suppliers should be selected and released by each city or county, and reported to the province. The list of necessity suppliers at the provincial, city, and county-level should be adjusted according to changes in the situation, and announced to the public in a timely manner.

The list of provincial-level daily necessity suppliers includes 8 wholesale markets and enterprises, 12 grain and oil suppliers, 10 vegetable transporters, 25 shopping malls, supermarkets, and production enterprises, and 9 transportation and logistics companies.

The Notice requires that the competent commercial departments of all cities and counties should take the initiative to solve problems for necessity suppliers and assist these enterprises in establishing a stable and reliable supply and demand cooperation relationship so as to ensure that daily necessities are available when needed.

All necessity suppliers are required to ensure sufficient market supply and stable prices.

All relevant departments should implement effective epidemic prevention measures, helping qualified necessity suppliers to operate normally and keep employees on the job, and allow logistics vehicles to travel throughout the province.

A list of necessity suppliers will be released on the official website of the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce and the Hainan Commerce WeChat account at the same time, so that certification for necessity suppliers is no longer issued separately.
