On August 9, the number of high-risk areas in Sanya was adjusted to 90, and the number of medium-risk areas was adjusted to 25, according to an announcement issued by the Sanya COVID-19 Pandemic Prevention and Control Headquarters.
High-risk areas are under lockdown: People shall not leave their homes. Necessary services shall be provided door to door. After there have been no new infections in the listed areas for 7 consecutive days, and all the people in the listed risk areas have completed the round of nucleic acid screening on the 7th day and all results are negative, the listed areas shall be downgraded to medium-risk areas. Thereafter, if there are no new infections for 3 consecutive days following the downgrade, the listed areas shall be downgraded to low-risk areas.
The above measures will be adjusted in due course in light of changes in the pandemic prevention and control situation.
