2022 WNEVC scheduled to be held in Haikou from Aug. 25 to 28

​The 4th World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) is scheduled to be held in Haikou, the capital of China’s Hainan Province, from August 25 to 28, 2022. The WNEVC focuses on the transformation and optimization of the global automobile industry as well as the continued improvement of the ecological environment. Discussions between delegates will further deepen international exchanges and cooperation, accelerate key technological innovation and industrialization breakthroughs, strengthen the coordination and cross-border integration of the automobile industry chain, and create a new automobile industry ecology.

The venue of this year's congress is the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, located in Haikou City. This year’s WNEVC includes forums, technology exhibitions, global new energy vehicle breakthroughs, an innovative technology competition, project roadshows, and other activities.

There will be a total of 24 meetings, including 4 main forums, 10 special forums, 9 technical seminars, and 1 high-level closed-door meeting. The technology exhibition area will measure around 10,000 square meters, and exhibits will cover advanced technologies and products such as new energy vehicles, vehicle batteries, motor drivers, hydrogen fuel cells, automotive chips, energy supplies, and supporting facilities.

This is the fourth consecutive World New Energy Vehicle Congress to be held in Hainan. The congress has played an important role as a platform promoting in-depth exchanges between the government, industry, academia, and research in the global automotive field, building consensus on development, clarifying development paths, and enhancing mutual trust and cooperation.
