Recently, in Hainan Province, Qionghai City and Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone of International Medical Tourism have accelerated industrial linkage and promoted the implementation of several medical projects in Qionghai City, benefiting the public.

The Zhengyitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center of the Boao Yiling Life Care Center at the Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone of International Medical Tourism opened a TCM outpatient service center and a pharmacy in Jiaji Town, Qionghai City on January 12th. By linking to the world-leading medical equipment, technology and experts of the Lecheng Pilot Zone, Zhengyitang provides TCM diagnosis and an affordable pharmacy, so as to create a one-stop service platform for traditional Chinese medicine treatment and health care in Qionghai City.

“We are the only designated service center for Yiling Life Care Center in Qionghai, mainly providing services with daily health care. Many of our customers need year-round comprehensive health care after medical rehabilitation,” said Chen Qing, president of Qionghai Zhengyitang TCM Outpatient Service Center.

During the “National 14th Five-Year Plan” period, which is from 2021 to 2025, Lecheng Pilot Zoneplans to focus on promoting the integration of the medical industry with Qionghai City. At present, Lecheng has formed a cooperative intention of joint development with many public medical institutions like the Qionghai People's Hospital. With other hospitals settling into the zone, such as the Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, the linkage and integration of the medical industry with the city’s development is expected to be accelerated.

Zhuang Huiliang, chairman of Qionghai Federation of Industry and Commerce told the reporter that they will take Zhengyitang’s opening in Qionghai as an opportunity to strengthen the city’s linkage with the medical institutions in Lecheng Pilot Zone, such as Yiling, so as to benefit the public with more international high-quality medical services and attract more enterprises to invest in Qionghai.

Lyu Xiaolei, deputy director of Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone stated that it is hoped that Lecheng can further increase the linkage with Qionghai, facilitating the exchange in medical and health resources and jointly promoting the construction of some projects, so as to bring more benefits and convenience to the people.
