In Sanya, Damao Fantasy World Shared Farm combines agriculture with other industries and realizes the integrated development of villages and enterprises. It teaches villagers knowledge of eco-agriculture and homestay management so as to make use of idle farmlands and houses and increase villagers' incomes.

Since 2017, Damao Shared Farm has provided more than 200 jobs for local villagers, and their per capita income has increased from 8,620 yuan in 2017 to 21,500 yuan in 2020.

The Sanya Honghua Shared Farm also promotes villagers' employment and entrepreneurship by transferring rural land use rights, providing jobs, developing agricultural products, making handicrafts and operating agritainment resorts. So far, the farm has provided over 100 jobs for more than 50 local impoverished households.

The villagers' incomes improve while the villages become beautiful, and there are more tourists. The 88 shared farms put into operation in Hainan Province last year received 2.21 million tourists, with a total profit of 160 million yuan.
