Leying hospital begins construction in Lecheng

The groundbreaking ceremony for Hainan Leying International Hospital is held on Sept 11.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Hainan Leying International Hospital was held in the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone on Sept 11.

Leying hospital mainly conducts medical treatment, research and outcomes transfer with a focus on women's health.

The overall design of the hospital strives to develop it into a "garden for treating and healing." Covering a total area of 22 mu (1.47 hectares), the hospital will be able to provide 120 patient beds and is expected to be put into operation in 2022. 

Liu Zhefeng, deputy head of the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, expressed his hope that Leying hospital will continue to devote efforts in upgrading medical service levels to attract more patients, and Lecheng will continue to optimize the local business environment to provide better services for local medical institutions.   

"The hospital will accelerate construction and further upgrade its service capacity to make more contributions to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the growth of Lecheng's big health industry," said Liu Chengping, a representative of Leying hospital.

Under the support of the preferential policies in Lecheng, the hospital has given full play to its global medical resources, achieving cooperation intentions with top hospitals and experts around the world. It will also apply the most advanced technologies, instruments and medicines to provide high-quality medical services for female patients in China.
