Among the various activities organized to celebrate the first anniversary of the release of the master plan for the Hainan Free Trade Port, a Hainan media tour and promotion exchange was held for visitors to see the development of the free trade port since then as well as experience Hainan’s unique local customs.

The exchange program,“Sharing Hainan with the World 2021”, wrapped up on July 22, after the group traveled down south to Sanya from provincial capital Haikou and visited other areas known for their scenic beauty or traditional ethnic culture and handicrafts, such as the Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County and Ledong.

The group included members of the media and an English host and four overseas communication officers from the Hainan International Media Center. They learned about Hainan’s economic development and traditional art and culture, taking part in some of them.
