As the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City in Sanya, one of the 11 key industrial parks being constructed to boost the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), turns two years old, it has also built over 400 talent apartments to provide a warm home and fast acclimatization for talents from home and abroad working in it.

The Yazhou Bay No.1 Community in the technology city offers more than 200 such apartments for both single residents and families. They are fully furnished so that the new arrivals can move in immediately. Cleaning and easy utilities payment services are also available to make the talent apartments happy harbors for the occupants.

The Nanshanchunyuan community, close to the highway intersection, came up with the first batch of talent apartments. Over 100 apartments in this community, including four and five-bedroom ones, are occupied at present.

Li Jiao, who works with information technology company iFlytek, was one of the first company employees to move into a talent apartment here. She listed the conveniences the community offers: it has a gymnasium, yoga room, chess room and children’s playground in addition to a canteen. On weekdays, a free bus runs every 10 minutes. “It’s very convenient to live here,” she said.
