Thanks to the local government of Sanya’s Jiyang District, Bohou Village now has a bustling new night market where people can relax in the lively, inviting atmosphere and enjoy the Hainan Island nightlife. The 1-kilometer-long night market has over 100 stalls selling fresh tropical fruit, barbecued seafood, and local snacks, as well as traditional handicrafts such as Li Brocades. The night market not only provides a popular evening destination, but also provides employment for about 300 local villagers.
