"At present, there are a number of areas under construction in Jiangdong including the Haikou Airport Economic Area and the Coastal Headquarters Economy Cluster CBD," said Zheng Wei (the Cultural Industry Investment Promotion Supervisor of Jiangdong New Area).

As of now, a total of 39 enterprises have signed contracts with the Headquarter Economy Cluster. This includes twenty in the service industry, eleven in bulk commodities trading, six in modern finance, and two in envirotech. Top businesses in energy and aviation are also being introduced into the district.

At the Jiangdong New Area Government Affairs Service Center, there are about a dozen service windows. Each of these windows has a clearly demarcated service function to make things easier for visitors to the Center. Additionally—in order to provide overseas investors with a convenient and friendly business environment—multilingual services such as English, Japanese, and Spanish, are also available at the Center.
