On the occasion of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC),Hainan International Media Center plans and launches a series of videos on the Two Sessions, interviewing foreigners who have lived and worked in Hainan about their expectations and personal views. This column aims to introduce the Two Sessions from an international perspective, reflecting foreigners' concerns about the Hainan Free Trade Port.

This year's Two Sessions opened in Beijing on May 21 and May 22 respectively.

The Indian analysis scientists Rathnakar Nathi and Rajkumar Vodnala, who have lived in Hainan and worked for Hainan Xinlai Pharmaceutical Technology Co.,Ltd. for 6 months, shared their views about the Two Sessions.

Rathnakar Nathi thinks that the motions and proposals on the Two Sessions are very beneficial for China's globalization. The development of Hainan Free Trade Port will contribute to GDP and Hainan's globalization. The pharmaceutical products of the company he works in can be transported by air, road and sea to the world.

When talking about the pharmaceutical industry in Hainan, Rathnakar Nathi said, "Hainan is advanced in developing the industry and some research centers. This is very helpful to the global economy and China's economy, and promote international communication, and improve technological transfermation and innovation."

About the suggestion for the Free Trade Port, Rajkumar Vodnala said, "When I came to China, I faced some problems. Hainan is an international tourism place. Why not provide direct flights from India to Hainan? So many people can visit Hainan and this will expand tourism also."
