Anna Orlova, from Russia, graduated from the International Academy of Music, which is founded by a famous Russian musician Sergei·Sergeyevich·Prokofiev. Since 2007, she has begun to participate in jazz vocal and piano competitions, and won many awards in the championships. During those 4 years (2009-2012) , Anna has won a total of 50 important awards. In 2014, she participated in "The Voice of Russia" and got the recognition from four judges. In November 2019, Anna established a Jazz club called Jazz Space in Hainan.

Anna hopes to establish a jazz club since she came to Hainan in 2017. "After I came to Hainan, I met a lot of excellent musicians. We play music and perform together. I want to develop jazz music in Hainan," said Anna. In November 2019, Anna founded Jazz Space, which is the only jazz club in Hainan. Currently, 10 to 15 members have joined the club. They come from all over the world such as Russia, South Africa, Congo, China, Britain and Ukraine. Anna believes that the true meaning of jazz is to create one’s own musical language. "Music has no countries, like love," she said.

When it comes to her experience of participating in "The Voice of Russia", Anna said that she has benefited a lot, and this experience has also strengthened her idea of playing music. "Before 18, singing was just my hobby. I’ve participated in many international music competitions and won some awards. But after ‘The Voice of Russia‘, I decided to develop singing as my career," she said.

In addition, when talking about the construction and development of Hainan Free Trade Port, she hopes that more and more international music talents will come to Hainan, and the Hainan government can support local music organizations like Jazz Space.

"Now Hainan is very international, many foreigners want to live and work here. I also hope to develop jazz music here with my Chinese friends and promote the development of music market in Hainan," Anna said with great expectation.、
